My husband recently went through a gut health program called Gut thrive on 5 , because after a surgery you had for years (with subsequent secondary infection and antibiotics IV), his bowels need a little extra help.

his experience has been very good and has seen a significant reduction in swelling and digestive problems (and weight loss). One of the parties to the Protocol is a soothing tea digestive Coriander called CCF cumin and fennel tea or tea that is said to be good to reduce swelling and inflammation.

Let cool to warm before adding the raw honey (if used). Note:. Some sources recommend leaving the spices soak in water for up to an hour before simmering, although I have not noticed any additional benefit when I’ve done personally
  4. Strain through a sieve of fine mesh metal and drink immediately or pour over ice for a cold drink. You can also make in large batches, it cooled and kept in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

not personally would use this tea during pregnancy without consulting a doctor or midwife, as there is some anecdotal evidence that fennel can cause uterine contractions. Of course it is important to consult a doctor before using this or any other natural remedy, especially for those with any existing health condition.
