It can be difficult to say with the tough exterior of watermelon, but here you will learn some tricks that will help you easily determine whether the melon is ready to eat.

Here are 3 trick to help you determine whether watermelon is ripe:

  1. If it is heavy for its size . If it feels heavy when you pick it up, it indicates that it is filled with water and therefore it is a good sign that the melon is ripe.
  2. The sound hollow. If the watermelon produces a hollow sound echoing hitting on her, more or less it means you are ready to be eaten with all its sweetness.
  3. The yellow spot. The larger the yellow spot, the theory is the longest that has been ripping the vine. Therefore, the greater the yellow belly is a watermelon, the sweeter.
